Collect documents
If the insured is a Hong Kong permanent resident and the passing occurred within Hong Kong:
- ID copy of insured and beneficiary
- Original ‘Certificate of death’
- Original policy
If the insured is a Hong Kong permanent resident and the passing occurred outside of Hong Kong, except #1-3, we also need:
4. Proof of HKID cancellation (Issued by Immigration Department of HK Government)
If the insured and beneficiary are not Hong Kong permanent residents, except #1-3, we also need:
4. ‘The Self-Certification Form for Individual' completed by Beneficiary
5. Original 'Notarised Death Certificate'
6. Original proof of 'Household cancellation'
File the claim
Please submit all original claim forms along with copies of ID card within 30 days from the date of loss.
We offer you an additional 60 days (Total 90 days) to collect and submit all the supporting documents.
