Service Arrangements for Typhoon Yagi:
Typhoon Yagi has intensified into a severe typhoon. According to the typhoon news as published by The Hong Kong Observatory, Typhoon Yagi will strengthen further on 5 September 2024.
As the impact from Typhoon Yagi is now deemed as a known event, any claims arising from or in relation to any travel disruptions/inconvenience caused by Typhoon Yagi will be excluded for any MyTravel Insurance policies/travel package arrangement made as below:
• Single Trip Travel Insurance policies issued at or after 10pm (HKT), 4 September 2024
• Annual Travel Insurance policies with a travel package arrangement is made at or after 10pm (HKT), 4 September 2024

If the rented vehicle is damaged - for example, scratched while parking or stolen, you'll be fully covered up to HK$5,000 of the vehicle excess fees.
