Payment options

We want to make the payment process fast, easy and convenient. This means giving you more support and extra choices – so you can pay your premium, your way. 

Applicable to all life insurance plans with premiums not exceeding 400,000 Hong Kong dollars.

  1. Log in to eServices or inquire about the premium amount through the Chatbot.
  2. Obtain the Faster Payment System (FPS) QR code through the following channels:
    1. eServices
    2. Chatbot
    3. Premium notice
    4. Agent
  3. Scan the QR code using your bank’s app or the FPS mobile app.

Available for all life insurance plans.

 

  1. Login to your account and select “FWD LIFE INSUR CO(BERMUDA) LTD” under bill payments. 
  2. State the amount and bill number  - as per the instructions on screen

Please settle your bill three days before the payment due date, and note your reference number. You’ll need this if you need to make an enquiry about your payment.

Customers can email us a cheque (this must be from the customer’s own personal bank account).



Notes:

  • If you’re paying for different policies, please include a breakdown of each payment detail (including the policy number and the amount for each policy) in the email content. 
  • Sorry, we can’t accept post-dated cheques or any physical print-out of an e-cheque.

Cheque

Via cheque deposit machine (CDM) at 24-hour self-service banking centres (for HSBC and Bank of China (Hong Kong))


Available for all life insurance plans.

  1. Cross your cheque and make it payable to: "FWD Life Insurance Company (Bermuda) Ltd"
  2. Select “FWD Life Ins.” under Bill Payment.
  3. State the bill number listed on the payment notice as per the instructions on screen. We recommend you keep the deposit slip for future reference.

 

Via mail 

For life insurance plans:

Send a cheque payable to: "FWD Life Insurance Company (Bermuda) Ltd" 


For general insurance plans: 

Send a cheque payable to “FWD General Insurance Company Limited” 


Please clearly state the policy number on the back of the cheque.  We recommend using a separate cheque for each policy.

 

Please cross the cheque and send it together with the payment slip to “G.P.O. Box 11832, HK”


Please note we can only accept cheques from the policyowner or insured customer(s).

Cash / cheque / EPS
Your bill can be settled at any of our Insurance Solutions Centres by cash, cheque or EPS.

This takes around two months to process, so we’ll need you to pay your first two months premiums by a different method, while you’re waiting for this to be set up.

Need a receipt?

Following all premium payments, we’ll post an official receipt within a week. If you pay premium by autopay or subscribed "eCommunication" service, you can view the receipt or payment records on FWD eServices App.

Exchange rate info

Should you have a foreign currency account and you wish to settle your policy premium(s) using foreign currency, we offer exchange rates for all our policies.

HKD policies can accept payments paid in HKD only.

AUD, CAD, EUR, GBP, RMB, SGD and USD policies can accept payments paid in corresponding policy currency or HKD only.
