Platform features include brand-new term life insurance plan and fast policy issuance in as little as 30 minutes
FWD Insurance (“FWD”) launched its new one-stop digital platform (the “platform”) at https://www.fwd.com.hk/online-insurance/. Powered by an easy-to-use interface, interactive user experience and fast policy issuance, the platform allows customers to easily purchase an array of insurance products online with multiple promotion offers.
The new platform is part of FWD’s aim to strengthen its multi-channel distribution capabilities and better serve customers in broader segments in Hong Kong fulfilling the brand’s concept of striving for better coverage and more comprehensive protection. It offers a wide range of protection that covers every aspect of daily life, including Voluntary Health Insurance Scheme, life insurance, home insurance, motor insurance, overseas working holiday insurance etc. Moreover, the platform now enables policies to be issued and effective in as little as 30 minutes.
Additionally, FWD is launching a brand-new term life insurance plan, “MyTerm”, on the platform that allows customers to add to their coverage according to their protection needs with greater flexibility. Customers who purchase MyTerm on the platform can enjoy coverage of up to HK$4 million.
Limited time offers available on FWD’s one-stop digital platform
To celebrate the launch of the new platform, FWD is now rolling out limited time offers. For instance, from now until 31 August 2021, customers who purchase MyTerm via FWD’s platform can enjoy a 70% discount on their first-year premium.

FWD invited Ian and Jer from MIRROR, singer-songwriter Gin Lee, new singer Mike Tsang, boy band P1X3L, Dusty Bottle ex-vocalist Kerryta and famous host Johnny Hui for the latest TV commercial promoting the platform which has been aired on multiple channels. In the commercial, the singers sing about the platform’s features and highlight its unique advantages in a fun and dynamic way.
