FWD partners with HKT to drive “#stayhomemoments” campaign forward

FWD Hong Kong (“FWD”) today announced a collaboration with Hong Kong Telecom (“HKT”) to offer complimentary COVID-19 protection to its users, including customers of 1O1O, csl. and online shopping platform Club Like, as well as the platinum/gold/silver members of The Club.
Building on the successful kickoff of the “#stayhomemoments” campaign with foodpanda, one of the city’s largest online delivery service platforms, FWD continues to seek partnerships with different merchants to aid Hong Kong citizens in the midst of the pandemic.
Jeff Wong, FWD Hong Kong & Macau Chief Agency Officer, said, “We’re delighted to see the overwhelming response to our “#stayhomemoments” campaign within such a short period of time since its launch and the participation rate is increasing daily. The protection offer has already benefited many thousands of Hong Kong citizens. A number of local celebrities, such as model Gaile Lok and actress Adrian Wong, have also participated in the campaign.”

From now until May 15, Registered Persons (Hong Kong or Macau valid ID card holders aged 18 or above, and currently residing in Hong Kong or Macau) upon making purchase/redemptions through FWD partners’ (1O1O, csl., The Club, Club Like, foodpanda) shop, website or mobile app will receive "Free COVID-19 Protection Offer" through a designated registration link. Citizens can simply register online by entering the referral code provided by FWD partners. Registered Persons can also register children under 18 years old within the same household for the same complimentary protection offer. Concurrently, Club Like will also provide a $30 discount code to every successfully registered customer on a first-come-first-served basis and while stock lasts.
Free Covid-19 Protection Offer＃
Hospital Cash
- HK$5,000 per week, up to 8 weeks (a partial week will be counted as a full week) if the Eligible Person is diagnosed within the Effective Period and requires hospitalization;
- An advanced payment of 4 weeks, equals to a one-off payment of HK$20,000, will be paid once the Effective Period is diagnosed.
Compassionate Cash
- HK$200,000 will be paid if the Eligible Person is diagnosed of COVID-19 and passes away as a direct result within the Effective Period.
Free extended protection offer for children
- At the time of registration, Registered Persons can also register for children under 18 years old under the same household for the same complimentary protection offer*.
Register today, and the protection offer will be effective for 45 days starting tomorrow
- Effective Period will be 45 days, commencing from the following day after the Date of Registration through the FWD "Free COVID-19 Protection Offer" registration page^.
