First ever insurance-convenience store collaboration to provide easy and convenient insurance purchasing services
Hong Kong, 10 August 2016 - FWD and 7-Eleven announce the launch of Hong Kong’s first-ever retail travel insurance card, available at all 7-Eleven stores across Hong Kong starting today. Through this innovative collaboration, FWD makes a breakthrough in insurance distribution channels and is further integrating insurance into people’s everyday life, while the new addition expands 7-Eleven’s comprehensive and innovative service portfolio.

From now on, customers can purchase the FWD Travel Insurance Card in over 900 7-Eleven stores across Hong Kong. Customers will receive a printed receipt with a unique promotional code after purchasing the card. To activate the travel insurance coverage, customers can simply go to the iFWD digital commerce platform (https://i.fwd.com.hk) and key in the promotional code. The card can be bought for own use or as a gift.

The benefits of the FWD Travel Insurance Card are the same as the coverage for a Single Trip of FWD’s Travel Care Insurance (Plan B) (https://i.fwd.com.hk/en/travel-insurance). The card is valid for 1 months starting from the date of purchase.
