FWD Insurance Celebrates Opening of Hong Kong Flagship Service Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui

Conveniently located service centre to broaden accessibility for customers and the public

FWD today announced the opening of its Flagship Service Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui. Located at a prime location in Hong Kong on street level, the Centre enables FWD to reach a wider audience, providing customers and the general public with a convenient and personal way to experience FWD’s products and services.

Speaking at the Centre’s opening ceremony, Mr. Ronald Arculli, FWD Group Chairman, emphasised the importance of being a customer-driven business.

“As we start a new year, FWD’s vision is to continue to move insurance in a new direction. We are delighted to be opening FWD’s Hong Kong Flagship Service Centre, located in the heart of the bustling Tsim Sha Tsui district. This is an exciting step for the company as we remain committed to fulfilling our customers’ needs through establishing multiple channels that will allow for them to manage the insurance related protection and financial  portfolios of their insurance policies anytime and anywhere they prefer.”

Mr. David Wong, Chief Executive Officer of FWD Hong Kong and Macau, also commented, “Together with the personalised service provided by our professional agency force, 24-hour Customer Service Hotline and eServices apps, our service centres will complete our service mix providing a personal approach for our customers and the public to learn more about FWD.”

FWD Hong Kong also recently enhanced the company’s eServices mobile apps by including the E-Message and V-Chat (video chat) functions, offering customers with alternative online enquiry channels that can be accessed at their own convenience.

With regards to FWD’s long-term development of its Hong Kong customer service offerings, Mr. Wong added, “We aim to open additional service centres at prime locations in Kwun Tong and Shatin within the first quarter of this year, to extend our quality services to those local communities. In addition, we will also continue to launch more comprehensive functions for our eServices apps, such as claim submissions and other purchase and after-sales services.”   

FWD’s Flagship Service Centre offers a wide range of insurance protection and financial planning services including insurance and retirement product enquiries and purchases, policy services, and non-HK resident witnessing. It also features electronic displays, e-posters, a digital wallboard and interactive games to enliven our visitors’ experience in insurance services.

The Centre is located at Shop 1, G/F, Fontaine Building, 18 Mody Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, and is open from Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 8pm.
