Manager, IT Audit

The Job

  • Perform full IT audit cycle from applying audit techniques (risk assessment, analytical review procedures, sampling, devise approach to test process efficiency, etc.) to presenting the audit findings and areas for improvement effectively and confidently to the management
  • Develop and present quality audit reports with practical, effective and actionable recommendations
  • Assist the Head of Internal Audit in developing annual plans and conducting both business and/or IT audits
  • Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions
  • Remain responsive and partner with management while maintaining independence
  • Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding insurance sector’s rules and regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards
  • Document process and prepare audit findings report
  • Document process, prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results

The Person

  • Should be a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Information Systems Auditor. Certified Internal Auditor a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years’ IT audit experience. Internal audit experience a plus
  • Insurance knowledge and experience a must
  • Excellent knowledge of IT audit techniques, methodologies and best practices
  • Experienced in data analytics and programming skills
  • High attention to details and have good analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills Ability to analyse large amounts of data and compile detailed reports
