Live Up Today

We joined hands with the Hong Chi Association, our corporate social responsibility (CSR) partner and launched a “Live Up Today” programme, which aims to help people with autism develop and engage fully in their families and the community.

The first event of the programme - “Live Up Today” award presentation ceremony was held in mid-December. The event saw 50 awardees receiving scholarships and awards in recognition of their remarkable performance and improvement. The event was further fuelled by a series of spirited performances and sharing by the awardees, amidst the cheering and applause of their families and friends.

  • FWD Hong Kong commits an annual sponsorship of HK$1 million to support the FWD x Hong Chi “Live Up Today” Programme.
  • Mr David Wong, Chief Executive Officer, FWD Hong Kong & Macau and Executive Vice President, FWD Greater China, presents the Excellence Awards to 10 awardees, recognising their perseverance and passions for pursuing their goals.
  • An awardee shows his talent in music in the award presentation ceremony.

Also parts of the “Live Up Today” programme are the initiatives named “Employability Sparkle” and “Talent Shine”. “Employability Sparkle” aims to promote employability of autistic adults, while “Talent Shine” sets the stage for people with autism to show their talents through special performances.
